Losing It!

We've been gone for the last few weeks and we've been watching the news and separately yelling at our televisions. So it's only natural we should get together and continue the rant in front of microphones.In this episode, Susan and Art vent about gun control, Cosby, and the Jan 6th hearings. Believe it or not, we managed to sprinkle in some laughs between all the ranting and railing. Yeah. We got worked up. Big fun!

Checking In

Winding Down

We're not sure how many episodes we have left but we're definitely heading towards something different. In the meantime, we Art had his first show in a long while and Susan continues to recover from her mild Covid ordeal by watching stuff on tv and the internet that she know will piss her off. Fun times.

Hazy Susan

Well it was bound to happen. One of us caught the virus. Susan tested positive for Covid this week so we're back to a zoom episode. Luckily, she had the vaccine so she's not too sick. but she's feeling really loopy and tired. And we decided to talk about her experience. Wish her well everybody. And stay safe.

Day Drinking

Bailey's and coffee on ice. How nice. Ok, it was an off brand Irish cream and we didn't have ice. But we did have a good time griping about the week and getting philosophical about friendship. If only we could have stayed on any topic longer than a few minutes. We did have some good laughs though. 

Man Up

Toxic Masculinity. How much of the world's suffering is caused by men trying to puff themselves up to seem like tough, strong, and powerful. Putin, Trump, Will Smith? Susan and Art have a lively discussion about this worldwide problem and what can be done about it. Why is it that men are only allowed to show their emotions through anger, pride, and isolation? In this episode we start with a few final thoughts about Will Smith and move on to Louis C.K. and other poor examples of masculinity. Art gives his ideas about what a real man should look like and Susan talks about how difficult it is for a woman in a world so dominated by male toxicity. 

Slap Happy Oscars

It was the slap heard round Hollywood and we needed to talk about it. Plus, various musings about memberships, living off the grid and other randomness.

Wait. Did I just say that? What did I come in here for? Who are you? Everyone's memory can falter as we age, but does it have to? When does it cross the line from silly to worrisome? Turns out there are definite ways to exercise your brain and keep it young and healthy. 

Masks Off

The mask mandate is over. Are we all better off showing our whole face? Are we ready for this? Are we ready to go back to normal? What is normal? Art goes back to normal bad eating habits. Susan takes on a garbage pile and her neighbor loses.
