Episode10 / DC Malone

Multitalented comedian/musician DC Malone shares what it was like growing up the son of a mortician with a slightly twisted sense of humor, his two decades as part of the nationally acclaimed comedy duo Malone and Nootcheez, and his legendary partying through the eighties and nineties. Along with one of the hardest working livers in show business, DC has some of the best stories of anybody on the circuit. He's larger than life, always likeable, and a really fun interview.  

Episode 9 / Jason Rouse

Talented comedic actor Jason Rouse is in the house. Actor, Writer, Director, Producer, Jason has been bringing the laughs to Portland and beyond for twenty years. He has performed sketch comedy around the country with Third Floor, Sweat, and Wonderland. Jason has a written and announced for Live Wire Radio show and appeared on national television shows such as Grimm and Leverage, as well as numerous commercials. In short, he is one of the most employed actors in the Rose City a true Portland treasure.

Long time radio host with KEX and cohost with Dave Anderson opens up about his friendship with Dave, his battle back from an aneurism in his leg that nearly cost him his life, and some of the wackiest moments of his radio career. 

Episode 7 / Helen Raptis

 If Portland had a Queen of TV it would be Helen Raptis!  You would be hard pressed to find anyone who didn't say, "Oh I love Helen!".  She is an Emmy winning broadcaster and host of AMNW on KATU. Helen tells stories she cannot tell on air, talks about her life as a woman in broadcasting, and cohosting AMNW with our dear friend Dave Anderson. Get ready to laugh. She is very, very funny!

Episode 6 / Carl Wolfson

Comedian / Radio Host Carl Wolfson talks about his days in Hollywood, politics, and his new book "Slide" a hilarious recounting of his family in Philadelphia, set against the backdrop of the Phillies ill-fated 1964 pennant run.

Episode 5 / 35 years!

Susan and Art both started comedy in March of '83 and in this episode they talk about how things were different back then, how they've changed, and share some stories from their 35 year comedy adventure.

With comedian, ukelele player, and gentleman Kermet Apio. Kermet was the winner of the 2009 Great American Comedy Festival and Seattle Comedy Competition.

When Art and I started our work on this endeavor our first guest had to be our dear friend Dwight Slade.  We have known Dwight since his early 20's and as you can see 35 years later he still looks 25.  He joins us today to talk about Portland Comedy and reveal  his thoughts on Comedy and social media; the pros and cons of being a comic in a society that is either overly sensitive or intolerant and his experiences both here and abroad.
