Episode 20 / David Tribble
Friday Oct 12, 2018
Friday Oct 12, 2018
In this episode, we thought it would be interestinig and enlightening to hear from a booking agent's perspective. Our guest is David Tribble, founder of Entertainment Solutions and Tribblerun Comedy Network. David started out as a guitarist in the seventies, then transitioned into booking musical acts. After seeing his first live comedy show in Seattle, David saw the power of laughter and started booking comedians in venues across the west. 30 years later, David is still helping comedians pay their bills and cut their teeth in a wide variety of venues. Anyone who's worked a Tribble Run knows the phrase, "It's a bit of a drive but the scenery is beautiful."

Episode 19 / Andy Andrist
Thursday Oct 04, 2018
Thursday Oct 04, 2018
This episode is different than all our others. Even though Andy is one of the funniest comedians we know, he wrote for The Man Show on Comedy Central and starred in The Unbookables movie produced by Doug Stanhope, it's not as much about the laughs. Part of what makes Andy so deeply funny is the pain he suffered from being molested as a child. Andy opens up about it and talks about the upcoming documentary he made with Stanhope and Paul Provenza in which he flies to Florida to confront his molester. This episode is longer than usual but we think you'll find it very compelling and enlightening.

Episode 16 / Auggie Smith (with Dwight Slade)

With national television appearances on Evening at the Imrov, The Bob And Tom Comedy All Stars (Comedy Central), and Live at Gotham (headlining their first episode), Auggie is the only comedian to win both the Seattle and San Fransisco Comedy Competions in the same year. This is because Auggie is simply one of the best in the business. Sitting in for Susan who had a last minute gig is another all star Dwight Slade (Episode 1). That's a lot of funny in one room. Auggie has some great stories including a brand new one about a recent gig that's sure to become an instant classic.
