This is a fascinating talk with Comedian/Magician Brad Bonar, a funny man who has struggled with severe depression since at least the sixth grade. Brad has put together a truly inspirational comedy tour with other comedians who've attempted or considered suicide. The show is called One Degree Of Separation, as in we all know someone who is suffers from severe depression. We had laughs and we also almost had tears. Almost. For almost 30 years this Denver Comic has been making her mark on the comedy scene. Nancy has never been afraid to try anything for the adventure. She would say.. Episode 48 / Memorial Day
Monday Jun 03, 2019
Monday Jun 03, 2019
On Memorial Day, we remember some of the comedians who helped build the comedy scene in the Northwest, back when comedy was booming in the eighties. Stand up was a viral trend back before that meant something good. Susan and Art pay tribute honor the memory of the pioneers of Northwest comedy who are no longer with us but who helped shaped the scene into what it is today. This episode might not be for everybody but for anyone curious about the early days of the comedy boom, these stories are good to know. P.S. we saved stories about the late Dave Anderson for his own entire episode.

Episode 47 / JP Linde book tour
Monday May 27, 2019
Monday May 27, 2019
JP Linde has appeared on Showtime Comedy Club, and co-wrote/produced the indy film Axe To Grind. JP is back on the podcast to talk about his latest book Son of Ravage, a funny and outrageous pulp fiction style novel set in Oregon and Northern California. It's hard to nutshell a book that has alien garbage monsters, flying Nazis, and a man with a tank turret for a head. But it's a really fun story about a team of hapless would be heroes trying to defend the world from an evil villain while trying to avoid breaking things. Son Of Ravage is a fast paced action story that is stamped with JP's sense of humor and love of film classics. We had a great time laughing with JP and talking about the book.

Monday May 13, 2019
Monday May 13, 2019
We know Gary Lucy as one of the most intelligent and prolific comedians from the Portland scene back in the 90s. Others know him as an Emmy-winning writer, host of The Ketchup: The Last Podcast on Earth, and former co-host of the popular podcast Never Not Funny presents: Rock Solid. He’s written material for comics like Kathy Griffin, Jimmy Kimmel, DL Hughley, Bob Saget, Fred Armisen, and of course… Jimmy Pardo. Gary is somebody who we've been trying to nab for our show ever since we started and we finally wore him down. Enjoy!

Episode 40 / Nick's Not Here Yet
Friday Apr 12, 2019
Friday Apr 12, 2019
In this episode, Nick Gaza was scheduled to join us but had to postpone for a doctor appointment. Turns out he had strep throat and we had to put it off until he felt better. But while we were waiting for him, we had our usual fun talking about this and that. No topic, no guest. Just Susan and Art waiting for Nick and making each other laugh. As with all our episodes, feel free to listen or don't. But we had fun and so will you.
