StopMe.2.1
Wednesday Aug 28, 2019
Wednesday Aug 28, 2019
Fall is a time for new beginnings. We're going back to school to reformat and streamline our podcast. After feedback from some of our followers, we've decided to shorten the episodes and break the show into segments. We're testing out some ideas and we'd love to know what you think. In "Then and Now", we ask whether certain things we're better back in the day or now (In today's episode it's before/after computers). In "What's your secret?" we ask for your silliest secrets and decide whether you should come out with them or keep them to yourself. And finally, we're recounting some of our most "Embarrassing Stories" for a laugh. Again, please let us know on our Facebook Page - Art and Susan's Podcast Page what you think.

Geoff Young is literally one of the pioneers of the Northwest comedy scene. Geoff started in the early eighties and performed in many small towns where no man had gone before. He was one of the top performers in Seattle for many years before starting a horse rescue mission and leaving comedy for a while. But he's back now and as funny as ever. Geoff shares some great memories about the early scene and traveling to Iceland to save a herd of wild horses.

Episode 55 / Tom McTigue
Wednesday Jul 17, 2019
Wednesday Jul 17, 2019
Our long time friend Tom McTigue has had an amazing life. His comedy has been seen on HBO, and Comedy Central. He has acted in Baywatch, many many commercials, and the Oscar winning Boyhood. Tom explains what pushed him to pursue stand up in Seattle around 1980, his battle with drinking and his 20 years of sobriety, and relocating to Austin to be a dad right before his ex wife and the mother of his child committed suicide. Loving dad, power act, and successful actor. Seriously Tommy. Leave something for the rest of us. Still, for all his success, Tom has remained grounded and humble. We know you'll love Tom almost as much as we do.

Monday Jun 24, 2019
Monday Jun 24, 2019
Kermet is back with more great stories and we got the sound right this time. We talked about the social responsibilities of a comedian in the current political climate and other smart stuff. We talked about fatherhood and a tour he did early in his career that ended up at a renaissance fair...in a tent. Kermet is always funny and engaging. We feel lucky to know this powerhouse comedian, winner of the Great American Comedy Festival and Seattle Comedy Competition, wonderful human and great dad.
